Our Mission
SFAI Legacy Foundation + Archive’s mission is to protect, sustain, and carry into the future the legacy of the San Francisco Art Institute–a legacy of bold, experimental artistic practice and innovative scholarly inquiry.
We are a community of artists and art lovers–board members and foundation advisors include SFAI alumni, former staff and faculty, scholars, neighbors, and friends. Join us to help grow our nascent organization and celebrate and build SFAI’s reputation as a cultural force in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. We welcome donations at all levels as each gift is essential to our mission. All donations are tax-deductible.
